After High School, I went to Washington U. for a year and a half. I married Mel Tash in 1958 and had two children Ted and Harriet. Not lucky enough to have grand children. We were divorced after 12 years.
I worked for a Mortgage Company for many years as a loan officer.
I met Norbert Sextro on July 4th 1980 and we were married in 1985. We had a wonderful 30 years together, before he passed away in May 2015. We had a great life, we went to many of the National Parks.
Norb retired from Boeing at the age of 55, so did I. During that time we had a small farm in IL. We had row crops and and few cattle. He also built us a A Frame House. During that time I sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for 9 years.
My son was living in Arizona and we would go visit during the Winter. It was so wonderful that in 1999 we bought a home in Sun City Grand a Retirement Community.
After we moved I joined a Drill Team and marched in Parades all over Phoenix. I then took my first tap lessons when I was 63, and have been tapping ever since. I have been in many variety shows. I love being on stage.
Besides dancing, I joined the Computer Club and the Photo Club. I learned so much about graphics and photography, that I was asked to teach some Adobe Elements Classes. I am the official photographer for my dance group.
I love living in Arizona and have made many friends, Would not live any place else.
