I served in the U.S. Army in Germany during 1962, 1963 and 1964. In 1965 I married Esther Mitchell (U. City Class of ’60).  We have been married for 53 years. We have  two wonderful adult children, Laura and Eric.

Early in our marriage I worked as a criminal prosecutor in St. Louis and then for the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.  My work at Justice moved us to Washington D.C., Chicago and then Los Angeles.

We have now lived in Los Angeles for 48 years.  In 1977 I left the DOJ and accepted a position with Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. as Vice-President and Assistant General Counsel in charge of the film and television litigation.  In 1988 a colleague and I left Fox and started our own film business law firm.

Esther and I love to travel.  We both retired in 2001 and have been extensively traveling the world ever since. We have a motor home and have been traveling in it all over North America.
